Thesis Master

As a Marie Curie Ambassador, the principal investigator of a Marie Curie project must promote the research field to students of universities. Mentoring students pursuing a Master´s degree is the perfect match to accomplish this exciting goal.

Mrs. Margarita López Echevarría started a Master's degree in Nutrition, Technology and Food Safety at the University of Murcia. This Master allowed her to perform her Master´s Thesis at CEBAS-CSIC within the framework of the PolyBiota project under the supervision of Dr. Giménez-Bastida. The  main objective was to investigate the capacity of a mixture of isoflavones to modulate processess associated with angiogenesis in an in vitro cellular model. For 5 months, Margarita demonstrated to be a well-organized student and worked hard to finish all the experiments, which were the basis of her Master´s Thesis.

Mrs. Margarita deposited her Master´s Thesis that was defended the last 14th of July at the Faculty of Veterinary (University of Murcia).

The members of the committee acknowledged the quality of the scientific work and gave a qualification of 9,9/10 with honour distinction. This is another milestone reached by the PolyBiota project, but not the last one. Congratulations Margarita and thanks for your contribution to the PolyBiota project!
