The Foundation for Training and Health Research organized an academic workshop focused on research projects about diet, microbiota and immune system regarding chronic diseases such as cancer, inflammation, obesity and(or) metabolic diseases. The goal of this conference was to promote the exchange of existing knowledge from projects led by national (University of Murcia, CEBAS-CSIC and IMIB) and international (UNIPI, Italy and VINARUM, Colombia) researchers. The outstanding oral presentations gave by the invited researchers provided a forum for the dissemination of the lastest scientific information on diet, microbiota and immune system in health and disease.
As invited speaker, Dr. Giménez-Bastida talked about the results obtained within the PolyBiota project hitherto. The results presented were discussed with the Conference attendees who raised interesting questions from different angles and points of view.
